Mr. Sam Williams
An accomplished strategy professional, software architect and developer with over 25 years of experience, designing and developing software products and solutions to solve a wide variety of business challenges in both the public and private sectors. Sam has worked extensively in social protection and development, healthcare, education, media and financial sectors, as well as on elections and governance projects.
He is proficient in several technologies including PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Objective C, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and .NET (C# and VB.NET), and has recently been involved in projects developing mobile solutions for the Apple iOS and Android platforms.
Sam is certified by the IEEE Computer Society, both as a Software Development Professional and a Software Engineering Certified Instructor, and is currently pursuing a Micro Masters in Data, Economics and Social Development through MITx, an online initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served as a National MIS Consultant for Ghana’s Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection’s Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) Social Cash Transfer programme in Ghana since 2009.
