Frederick Pokoo-Aikins
Frederick is an independent Internal Audit Advisor, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Control expert and a professional trainer. He is the founder and Managing Consultant of IMPRO GRC and Redric Consulting.
Fred is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), IFC Certified Corporate Governance Trainer and a Certified Internal Control Professional (CICP). He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and ISACA, as well as the IT Governance Institute.

He is also a Technical Specialist with the Institute of Risk Management, UK. He worked with multinationals such as Coopers and Lybrand, Ernst and Young and USAID among others and has over 22 years of experience in public and private sector risk management, financial management, internal and external auditing.
He is a facilitator in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Auditing, COSO Internal Controls, IT Governance, as well as IT Audit and has trained boards and management of private and public organisations in Ghana and beyond. He is also a regular speaker at ICAG conferences. Fred is currently a visiting facilitator at the University of Cape Coast where he lectures in Corporate Governance and Auditing (MSc Microfinance).
He now leads the IMPRO GRC and Redric Consulting teams as they deliver consulting and training solutions in Internal Audit, Fraud Management and Control, Risk Management and Corporate Governance to professionals engaged in corporate monitoring activities and in the private and public sectors. He is a past Council Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana and also serves on the audit committees of a number of public sector organisations
